Welcome to the Dayton Train Show!

2007 Show Huge Success!
Thanks Everyone!

Wow! What a show! The 32nd edition of the Dayton Train Show goes into the record book. The final report is a few weeks away, but the preliminary numbers are impressive.

  • Over 5,100 total visitors.
  • Over 3,600 paid admissions.
  • Over 290 vendor tables.
  • Ballarena filled with layouts and exibitors.
  • 42 Boy Scouts went through Merit Badge Program

Eager visitors await the opening on Saturday morning.

Folks lined up outside the doors in beautiful weather both days of the show waiting for the opening. There were a lot of families participating this year, which seems to be good news for the future of the hobby. There was a lot of interest in the door prize drawings, and tickets for the Division 3 Raffle Layout sold well.

Vendors from across the eastern half of the United States participated and, while they don't share sales figures with us, most were smiling and an astonishing 80% of the available tables for next year's show were reserved within 3 days of this year's closing.
